Service Description

The ninth week of camp meets Monday through Friday (July 28th through August 1st) from 10am to 1pm. Each week of camp will alternate between focus on 2D and 3D art-making, and this week we will focus on 2D work! During this session, our young artists will: -Explore and learn new drawing, painting, and mixed-media art techniques while creatively tapping into their unique self-expression -Have fun and socialize with friends while tapping into the freedom, joy and wellbeing benefits of creativity, artmaking and summer fun -Enjoy tailor-made, encouraging and non-judgemental art instruction from our art educators while creating artwork with materials such as paints, pastels, paper crafts, stained glass, found objects, collage, mixed-media and more -Learn dozens of new artistic techniques such as blending, shading, perspective, 3D effect, layering, color mixing, multimedia materials, and more! -Receive the lasting benefits of art classes proven by science, including increased communication skills, enhanced relaxation, greater focus, increased self-esteem, boosted social skills and heightened academic success!
